Hello! I’m Kate S. Dillon, a designer, filmmaker, and skateboarder based out of San Francisco, California.

 

I am a recent graduate of the University of San Francisco, where I received a B.A. in Design with a minor in film. During my time at USF, I was involved with KUSF, USF's college radio station, where I served as the Lead Designer and Promotions Director. Additionally, I was a Lab Assistant in USF’s design and architecture labs. On top of these on-campus positions, I completed 3 different internships during my time in undergrad. 

 

Design and film have always been a big part of my life. Growing up a skateboarder, I was exposed to all the subcultural nuances of the industry, such as music, fashion, and art. This background has informed my personal style and has made me the designer and filmmaker I am today. I have a deep affinity for analog art forms and enjoy blending analog with the digital world. In my personal practice I enjoy creating bold typographic layouts and experimental works. I am most inspired by finding creative solutions in order to visually communicate in the most effective way possible.
