Hello! I’m Kate S. Dillon, a senior design and film student at the University of San Francisco.
I currently work as the Promotions Director and Designer for KUSF, USF’s college radio station. Additionally, I am a Lab Assistant in USF’s design and architecture labs. Outside of my academic life, I am a sponsored skateboarder.
Design and film have always been a big part of my life. Growing up a skateboarder, I was exposed to all the subcultural nuances of the industry, such as music, fashion, and art. This background has informed my personal style and has made me the designer and filmmaker I am today. I have a deep affinity for analog art forms and enjoy blending analog with the digital world. In my personal practice I enjoy creating bold typographic layouts and experimental works. I am most inspired by finding creative solutions in order to visually communicate in the most effective way possible.
